The Callahan County Sherriff department is going to give a presentation to our students today on safe driving. the presentation will be at 9:15 in the High School Auditorium and will last about an hour. Anyone from the public is welcome to attend, please try to arrive early so that you can check into the office first. ​

We have 5 students competing in  the State UIL competition all week in Austin. We wish them good luck and know they are representing Baird ISD well.

You can turn the money to the office early or bring it that day.  We will be sending the paperwork packets home with your student, or you can print it off of the attachments provided.  Please get the forms completely filled out and turned backed into us asap! Last day of school for Pre-K at Day Nursery of Abilene is FRIDAY, JUNE 7.

All First Baptist Youth activities will be cancelled this Wednesday May 8th. They will be back at their regular time next Wednesday. 

We are postponing the Athletic Banquet that was schedule for this Wednesday evening to a later date.  As soon as we can find a date that works with our schedule we will reschedule and let everyone know. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 

Bree graduated tonight with her Associate’s degree. She is one of several dual credit students in this area who were recognized tonight for earning her associate’s while still in high school. Bree will graduate from Baird High on May 23rd and already has a college degree to her name. Congratulations to Bree and her family and a special thank you to Mrs. Dyer for her hard work with our Dual Credit program.
