Coach Biehl has always been around the Big Country as he is originally from Early, Texas.

After high school, Coach Biehl went to ACU on a choir scholarship before transferring and ultimately graduating from Howard Payne University in 1990.

Coach Biehl has gone between blue collar work in the oil field and white collar work in education his entire career. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in both fields and has prior teaching and coaching stops at Reagan County (Big Lake), Iowa Park, and Clyde.

Coach Biehl has taught math for 19 years.

Coach Biehl has been married to his wife Carla for 33 years and they have two sons (Jarred, 31 / Jace, 22).

In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends.

Coach Biehl resides in Clyde, Texas.
